Defection Hits APC Rivers State, Port Harcourt City Local Government Chapter (Ward 18).

It was Joy unending on the side of the defectors as ELDER JOE MGBAMOKA led over 500 APC members defects to PDP.

Until his defection he was a stakeholder and a staunch grassroot mobilizer for the APC.

In his defection speech, he said that;

” Today we are moving from darkness and lies into light and truth. Prior to the Supreme Court Judgement, in a stakeholders meeting, the APC state chairman MR IBIAMU IKANYA assured us of victory,  that the judgement will be influenced but today we all know the story.

I am not joining the PDP today for personal benefits but to bring my grassroot command into bear and work for god’s anointed child Governor Wike.

The mayor of port Harcourt sir Soni Sam Ejekwu who received the APC defectors on behalf of the PDP state party chairman Bro Felix Obuah assured them of a level playing ground to enable them exercise their franchise within the party.

“The PDP is a united family, big enough to accommodate more defectors without discrimination” the mayor said.
